In June, the Coyle family invaded Italy for almost two weeks. We visited Rome, Venice, and Naples. Our adventures included exploring museums and ruins, climbing a volcano, scurrying through underground caverns and catacombs, playing with pigeons, sleeping on an overnight train, and eating in a restaurant burrowed into the side of an ancient Roman garbage heap.
